Apotheosis
Hello !
My name's Tiffany and I use Apotheosis as my online name.
Why this name ? I'm a huge fan of Greek Mythology and I opened my Mythology Dictionary to find a cool new nickname and the word Apotheosis looked beautiful and I like its definition, so here I am !
Bio
I was born in France and I'm 27. Mainly studied arts and literature at high-school only to go to a "Law and Political Science" University. Turns out I was too poor to make it to year 2 so I dropped and... went to a random field. I ended up at Universite Paul Valery Montpellier III where I studied History of Arts and Archaeology. I deviated to archaeology and got my diploma after 3 years ! It was nice, but not that useful in the real world.
During my studies, I opened a YouTube channel focused on RWBY AMVs. It really helped me when life went hard and I just love creating things in general. If you like this show and music then I invite you to check it out :D
I made a few friends in the RWBY community, one who now became my husband ! I left France in 2022 to finally be with him in Australia. He is everything to me. We married and we are waiting for our first baby !
Work: I'm a freelancer on the Fiverr platform. I do video editing, translation (english & french), transcription and other similar services. I also make crocheted dolls and their patterns, you can find my work on Etsy !
Personality: At first glance or encounter, I seem cold and unhappy (thanks to my big eyebrows !) but that's because I'm a bit too shy. I used to be very extrovert and cheerful but due to childhood traumas I'm not that way anymore even if I work on it ! As positive traits I'd say I'm loyal to my friends and kind when it has to be. I'd add that I'm brutally honest but this also fits my faults because my bluntness can be too rough sometimes. I'm hypersensitive and speak too quick when I'm angry. I tend to hold grudge for a long time when hurt, usually lasts for 3 years ! Working on "not giving a damn", my husband really helps me with that so I'm not as "grudgy" as I used to be.
Hobbies: I love reading books and fanfictions, drawing (I used to draw a lot), making AMVs, crocheting and playing video games. As a good old "weeb" I watched a lot of anime but less in recent years, my main focus is on shows, movies and k-dramas. I enjoy romance and shipping in general. Although I have particular tastes focusing mainly on "enemies to lovers" trope, I enjoy a lot of different various ships as long as you provide me a good fanart or a good fanfiction ! I'm very obsessed with mermaids as far as I can remember.
I also enjoy astrology and witchcraft (green witchcraft and cartomancy). I also love different mythologies and I actively learn more about them when I have free time.
Politics: I've been very involved in it since I'm a teenager, thanks to my mother. We descend from a heavily far-left family. My great grand-mother was Jew and resistant during WWII, mainly passing messages between resistant groups while taking care of my grand-father. On my grand-mother side, our ancestor Henri Jamet was a communist who helped exploding n@zi trains until he was caught and deported in Auschwitz. Because of our family history and personal experiences, the left is the obvious choice. You can imagine my disgust during the 2022 election when we had to vote between N@zi 1 and N@zi 2 ! I decided to never vote again after this as all political parties do not reflect my opinions anymore. Also, what is the point of voting when I'm not even living in France ?
Social: I'm very open-minded to a lot of topics and always listen to new point of view. However in the past decade the world is going insane with some stuff. The rise of auto-diagnosed people is harmful to actual disabled people as it is based on Reddit or TikTok opinions. I also can't understand why saying that "males shouldn't compete in female sports is offensive" when it is a biological fact. I can't stand (like most people) the ongoing genoc!de of palestinians and I feel helpless. I'm boycotting z!on!st products since a long time and I hope we can all make a difference. I am not interested in celebrity gossips and their opinions as I couldn't care less.
Triggers: I hate insects (Australia is hell xD). I hate horror movies. I'm sensitive to abuse (my father, uncle and grand-mother are abusive) in general as I've been abused and sexually assaulted when I was a minor and an adult. I can't stand bullying and fake rumors as I've been a victim of it since middle-school. I hate manipulators or guru of some crazy theories.
